En Primeur in the most basic terms is buying wine whilst it is still in the barrel in Bordeaux. The campaign begins when the prices are released from the producers' approximately six months after the harvest. It is then purchased by the consumer and two years later it arrives in Hong Kong / France, bottled and stored for later enjoyment.
The attraction for customers to En-Primeur is not only the buying of finest quality wine from specialist chateau, but also the fabulous savings to be made when buying wine this way. For example, from the now famous 2000 vintage, certain wines are trading up to four times the price they were first released at. En-Primeur is sold in cases of twelve 75cl bottles.

We have also found that our existing customer base continues to deal with us every year. When buying En-Primeur you can be confident in the knowledge that from the time of purchase the wine is being stored properly, following the correct procedures until it is time to enjoy the wine by you after its arrival in Hong Kong / France. If you are not prepared to take possession of your wine on its arrival we can store the wine for you in our warehouse facility at an annual charge.
